We did a remix of ‚Arroz Con Pollo‘ by „Gilles Peterson’s Havana Cultura Band“ for the Remix-Contest hosted by Havana Cultura. With our SoulBrigada Cubanic Dub we made a midtempo (116 bpm) dancefloor stomper with a dubby flavour usin’ trippy piano samples & vocal snippets.

Finally there it is… today we received some fresh vinyls of the brandnew Release on Poets Club Records (Germany): ‚Havana Cultura Remixes‘ (PCR 0546). On the EP there are three remixes of tracks by „Gilles Peterson’s Havana Cultura Band“ (that was originally rleased on GP’s ‚Brownswood Recordings‚). Our ‚SoulBrigada Cubanic Dub‘ of ‚Arroz Con Pollo‘ is also our first remix and/or production on wax. This remix is a midtempo dacefloor stomper with a dubby flavour usin‘ trippy piano samples & vocal snippets. On the Flipside you can find a nice edit Rainer Trüby’s ‚Afrodisia‘ remix.
